About Me	Hi, my name is Steve, and I am very excited to be part of this networking group and I love to meet new people and share insights, ideas, wisdom and knowledge. With 25+ years of Leadership Experience (20 years in the British Military and 5+ in the civil sector) I have lots of real-life experience and skills to share. I have lived worldwide, in many different cultures and have worked alongside many different nationalities. My Leadership Coaching practice focuses on the universal evidence and fact-based models of human behavior. The principles being that Leadership is all about people and to be able to lead others we must first understand them. If we can understand how people think and behave, we know how to connect with them and in what way to connect with them as individuals. This grows trust and relationships swiftly and strongly. Professional Summary	I joined the Royal Air Force (UK) at 16 years old and served my country for 26 years in total. I then moved to Australia and started my life over again. This was a massive decision and I promised myself I would do “whatever” it takes to make it successful. I had no idea what “whatever” actually meant. However, here I am, 10 years into my new life in Australia, I am now a full Australian Citizen and run my own very successful Leadership Coaching Practice. I left school with very little education and have pulled on my vast life experiences of being the RAF and living all over the world to carve out the life that I now have. I am very much a “doer” and not a “gunna” (going to do, but never do). I am fully committed to becoming the very best version of myself and spend a lot of time in my own professional and personal development. This commitment to growth in all areas of my life, is in turn, helping me to be the best coach I can be and grow those around me. I love what I do, I am very passionate about Leadership and I believe that there is a massive Leadership Revolution happening right now. The age of the Boss, Supervisor and Manager is over, and the door has opened for Leaders. A Leader who is someone who will pour all they have into those around them to ensure that they grow, develop and become the very best at what they can be and do. I am inspired to help my clients and the positive ripple effects that then has on those around them. I want people to succeed and enjoy what they do. I also help businesses and teams to create positive workplace cultures through the development and growth of their people. As Richard Branson says… “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” and… “Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don’t want to” Our people / team are our greatest asset, if we make them the best they can be, they in turn, will help us be the best we can be. I am a Maxwell Facilitator, Trainer, Speaker and Coach and in 2023 I am part of a 7 strong team bringing the “Live2Lead” event to Australia as part of the Leadership Festival.
